This brash, young upstart from New York was dropping mixtapes like his life depended on it last year, and he managed to impress me with a couple of tracks. This year, he was wound up in some silly beefs with Rhymefest and Soulja Boy (to whom my brother taunted on MTV about Charles) which have not really done him too much service in the popularity department. Mr. Hamilton gets pretty Dilla here in terms of the production, and this track with its lazy (Lacey) flow caught my ear a few months ago. Judge for yourself – next to blow or staying low?
