Busta Rhymes has spent the better part of two years trying to reinvent himself. Originally set to drop “Before Hell Freezes Over” aka “Blessed” as his second Aftermath album over a year ago, he parted ways with the label and then set up shop with his own Flipmode imprint on Motown / Universal. Unfortunately, this track will not be on his next album. Don Cannon on production provides a nice 2nd-line bounce beat making Busta sound a bit refreshed (he always sounds great when he’s clowning). I had serious reservations about the first single from his new album, but I am quite happy that Bussa Bus has been pushing Raekwon (now part of the Conglomerate?) to get Only Build 4 Cuban Linx 2 back on the front burner…
